The 516 Arouca Bridge will be inaugurated on May 2, 2021 (Sunday) and will be attended by the Minister of Territorial Cohesion, Ana Abrunhosa.
The biggest suspension pedestrian bridge in the world will open its doors to the public the next day, that is, on the 3rd of May. Meanwhile, residents and holders of the Passadiços do Paiva card will be able to make their reservation before this opening, between May 29th and 1st.
Children under the age of 6 are not allowed and all visits will be accompanied by guides.
We remind you that the 516 Arouca Bridge has a length of 516 meters and is approximately 175 meters above the Paiva River. Around it you can enjoy a unique landscape marked by Cascata das Aguieiras, Garganta do Paiva and Passadiços do Paiva.
